Description: This data layer includes lines representing completed sections of the Ice Age Trail, unofficial connecting routes, future IAT, other trails which intersect the IAT, and other trails relevant to the Ice Age National Scientific Reserve or small-scale mapping projects in Wisconsin. Locations are derived from 1:24,000-scale sources or larger. This layer is a combination of GPS and digitized data, merged to represent one complete data layer for the IAT. The data was developed cooperatively by the Ice Age Trail Alliance (IATA) and the National Park Service Madison Trails Office. This data reflects updates received from the IATA on September 19th, 2017.
