Description: This dataset is comprised of Macroinvertebrate Index of Biological Integrity (M-IBI) values at monitoring stations where one or more samples were collected within the last 10 years. This 10-Year MIBI Values datalayer provide an indication of the type and quality of biological results found for macroinvertebrates on given stream. These data are in no way indicative of the complete picture of the quality of a given water. M-IBI values represent one piece of data at a point in time. Assessment methods for rivers and streams are based on the most current Wisconsin Assessment and Listing Methodology (WisCALM). Values reflected in this datalayer will be reviewed and incorporated into Clean Water Act Assessments as time and resources allow. The principal method of updating assessments on waters is through the Watershed Planning Program.
