Description: Water quality assessment data includes determination of the attainable use support of the waterbody for a given designated use. For fish and aquatic life use, attainable use support is provided in this spatial data layer from WATERS. Fish and Aquatic Life 'Attainable Use Support' for all waters of the state are "not assessed" unless an analysis has been conducted on the water. Most data was derived from historical water quality assessments published in Water Quality Management Plans (Basin Plans). This data is stored and managed in the Water Assessment, Tracking and Electronic Reporting System.
