Description: This data represents known locations of shallow historic ship wrecks located in Lake Michigan off the coast of Wisconsin as recorded by the Wisconsin Historical Society. This data is intended for use by the Bureua of Parks and Recreation in the Lake Michigan State Water Trail web mapping application but can be used by other programs. The data was originally provided to DNR Parks Bureau by the Wisconsin Historical Society in tabular format and was converted by DNR staff into a GIS feature dataset.
